Contributing to Books Online is a great
way to spread the word about authors and/or books you feel
particularly strongly about. Follow the guidelines below to
give you the best chance of getting published on BooksOnline.co.uk,
we promise that we’ll read all contributions and include them
if they’re original and of good enough quality.
In all cases the contributor must hold copyright or
copyright permissions, and we may suggest a reciprocal link
to/from your own website if appropriate. Please remember that
we target a UK audience, so books/authors
reviewed should have strong UK connection.
If your review is comprehensive please include an excerpt
in the query box in the contact form (enough to wet our appetite!),
or point us at a website. If we’re interested we will contact
you and ask you to email us the full review as a word document.
Submit a Book Review
Have you just read a book that you think
people should know about? Submit a book review and we like
it we’ll publish it, giving all our visitors access to it
and potentially generating book sales. Have a look at some
of our existing book reviews to give you some idea of what
we’re looking for. Please don’t make your book review longer
than 300-1000 words and remember to include
the name of the book, the author, and the ISBN number.
Whether fact or fiction, prose or poetry, we’re interested!
Please note that the book must already be available
through Amazon.co.uk. We hope to remove this restriction
in the future but it must apply currently.

Submit an Established Author Review
Do you have a favourite author you want
to tell the world about? Submit an author review and if we
like it we’ll publish it, giving all our visitors access to
it and potentially generating book sales for the author. Please
try and include the following if available:
- Name of the author and a bit of background, e.g. where
born, how old, where live, plus anything else of interest
that can be used without compromising the author’s privacy.
- The style of writing the author uses and the category(ies)
they write within, e.g. fact or fiction, fantasy or thrillers.
How long have they been writing? A potted writing history.
- A list of books the author has written, which have impressed
or influenced you. Please feel free to submit a book review
for one or more of the books in addition to the author review.
Please don’t make your author review longer than 300-1000
words.
Please note that at least one book written and published
by this author must already be available through Amazon.co.uk.
We hope to remove this restriction in the future. We
can also include an author photograph, if appropriate, which
needs to be emailed to us with your submission, in either
JPG or GIF format.
